Eli: How did you get into modeling?
Bridgette: I became friends with a few photographers through riding that needed models so I agreed to pose for them. I didn’t start seriously pursuing modeling until a few months ago when I broke my hand in a motorcycle crash, and I pursued it as something to do.
Eli What are your goals, what are you hoping to get out of modeling?
Bridgette: I would like to learn how to be better on camera and be able to better represent sponsors as an athlete/model. I think it’s so lame that most motorcycle models don’t actually ride.
Eli: Do you have any nicknames?
Bridgette: My boyfriend calls me guppy.
Eli: How would you describe your style?
Bridgette: Natural, classic, and “girl next door” but with a bit of attitude.
Eli: Do you have a favorite shoot that you have done?
Bridgette: I really enjoyed working on fitness photography with you. Looking through the photos, I definitely have a lot to learn!
Eli: Do you have a “dream shoot”?
Bridgette: I’d love to product model for motorcycle companies.
Eli Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
Bridgette: I love extreme sports, and I do most of them. I used to be a pro downhill mountain bike racer, and I’ve transitioned into motorcycle racing. One thing most people don’t know is that I also really love fashion and love to design and create my own dresses.
Eli: What are 5 things you “cant” live without?
Bridgette: My motorcycle, my puppy, my boyfriend, yoga, and (sigh) my iPhone.
Eli: It sucks sometimes how connected to our phones we are these days... I
know I stare at it way too much during my day.
Eli: How do you spend your downtime when not working?
Bridgette: Pursuing my dreams....
Eli: Do you have a favorite designer or brand that you have worked with?
Eli: Do you have a fitness regimen you follow? If yes, describe it.
Bridgette: Get strong, race bikes, break bones, rehab, repeat.
Eli: What are some pet peeves you have about photographers?
Bridgette: None really. I’m just grateful for the experience.
Eli: Who is somebody you admire professionally?
Bridgette: Lindsay Vonn
Eli: Oh geez, she is amazing.
Eli: What are some tips you would give to anyone wanting to start a career in modeling?
Bridgette: Just do it! Stop worrying about being “pretty enough” or “fit enough” just start! The photos will motivate you to improve.
Eli: What do you do other than modeling?
Bridgette: I’m a personal trainer, and working towards being a physical therapist someday.
Eli: Give me an unpopular opinion you have.
Bridgette: Prius drivers suck.
Eli: Fun fact, I drove a Prius to this shoot.....Not mine though, I let my Brother borrow my truck to move something. I actually agree with this, but starting to be replaced by Tesla drivers.
Eli: Describe a hardship you have had to overcome.
Bridgette: I was in a horribly abusive relationship once, and it really killed my confidence. I’m stronger now for it though.
Eli: Tell me a bit about yourself that you feel the questions might not cover.
Bridgette: -- I’ve always been a tomboy, and I’m literally just now learning how to be pretty. It’s fun to pursue my feminine side!
Thanks so much!
